Last year I went to
Singapore with my family. We went there on the 4th of July 2014. We
woke at dawn and getting ready to go. We went to the airport by the taxi. We went to Singapore using Air Asia. The flight was exciting. We flew for about one and a half hour. We landed safely in Changi
International Airport Singapore. We went to the baggage claim to take our
suitcases. Then we went to the MRT station and visited Simei. We bought some durians and ate it there. We stayed at the Park Royal
Hotel. I got such a great view from my 14th floored hotel room! But unfortunately, I didn't take any picture of it. After we put our suitcase in our hotel
room and took a short break, we visited the Singapore icon, Merlion. We bought
some ice cream sandwiches there. Each of them cost $1. We finished our sandwiches
and started taking photos at the Merlion photo spot. Then we took a bus to Jurong East and and visited the Science Center. It was an exciting place! There were lots of games related to science. It became dark, so we went
to a crab restaurant in the mall to ate our dinner. Then we went back to our hotel and take some sleep.
We spent our second day
by visiting the Universal Studio in Sentosa Resort. We tried lots of rides
there. Even we had to queue for a quite long time, the rides were so fun! We spend out time had a lot of fun there. I wish
I could go back there someday.
The next day, we went around Singapore to find
some souvenirs and also took some pictures. We had our lunch in Chinatown. Chinatown was a great place with some fascinating old Chinese buildings and shops. Then we went off to Gardens by the Bay. There was a parade with some attractions coincided when we came. At
night, we went to Marina Bay Mall. We ate chili crab, and it tasted great! We
walked around the mall until it was late at night and then went back to the hotel.
The next day we took a bus to Johor Baru Malaysia and visited Legoland. Legoland was pretty quiet that time. Not many visitors were there. So we didn't need to queued for a long time. The rides was as fun as enjoyable as the rides in USS. But here, there are some water rides. We took a bus to went back to Singapore at the evening.
It is hard to say that it was my last day in Singapore. At about 7 a.m. we checked out our hotel room. It was raining hard outside, so we decided to take a taxi. The driver was so kind and friendly. He drove us carefully in the middle of the rain and took us safely to Changi Airport. We had some minutes before boarding, so we walked around the airport. When we were allowed to board, I met my cousin in the waiting room. I found out that we had the same flight with the same time. The rain stopped leaving raindrops on the airport's window. I went back to Indonesia using Air Asia again. We flew with a little unfriendly weather, but we landed safely in Husein Sastranegara Airport. After saying goodbye, my cousin left the airport. I did the same after I finished the immigration process.
